Dean supporters, room for one more? (I'm switchin' to DEAN - Yeeaaahh!)

I've been dwelling on this for over a week, and was going to post this yesterday, but the flu has me a little under the weather, and I thought I'd wait 'till I could be as clear as possible in my explanation. I decided to post this now, because I don't want anyone to think I was "jumping on the bandwagon" after Dean's comeback - which I predict will be all the talk here and elsewhere by Sunday. There are already hints of it.

Why am I switching to Dean? A lot of reasons, really. His refusal to kiss gwmoron's ass for starters. His opposition to the bs invasion of Iraq as well. His experience, his personality, his record of results.

But what really sealed it for me was the absolute full-on assault on him by the media and a small portion of certain other candidates' supporters, even here, over that rally in Iowa Monday. That media-manufactured "crisis" and the OJ/MJ like coverage of such a non-issue, non-event has convinced me that a concerted effort to stop Dean at all costs is in the works at the highest levels. I have never seen anything like it in my life. And it was absolute bullshit.

I haven't suffered thru the last three + years of bushco to have the mediawhores and a handful of anti-Dean Dems tell me who I can and cannot consider for the next President. Somebody wrote recently of the "political assassination of Howard Dean." I believe many are going to be stunned to find it was an attempted political assassination that failed, and has begun to, and will continue to, backfire - big time. And this silly, sickening sabotage of the Dean campaign made me look hard at the guy, and what he's really about, and he's the one for me.

I was a DK supporter - and I have nothing but good vibes and good feelings for the guy, for many of the same reasons I like Dean, and my switch is in no way a dis of Dennis.

I live in SC, the most talked about contest after NH. If this flu subsides enough by Monday, I'll be volunteering for the Dean campaign here in SC, and will be thrilled and honored to work for them (for US, for OUR America!) in any capacity they see fit.

I truly believe now that its not Dean they're trying to stop, its the people.

Let's take our country back!

I am also a Kucinich supporter but I am seriously considering changing to Dean. He has passion which I think we need.

The attacks on Dean, in this forum, and in the "real world" has risen my hackels. It does not make want to look at the other candidates instead it has made me look more and more at Dean.

The old adage where there is smoke there is fire applies here IMO and we need a fire IMO to clear out the undergrowth and allow us to grow again.

Many of the candidates are good people but I want a fighter. If they can fight I will support them.
