Did any one watch "Face the Nation" this morning?
Edited on Sun May-15-05 11:28 AM by caty
Ted Kennedy was great, as usual. (Maybe HE should run for president) I loved it when Bob said that it looked like even bush's own people thought he was "inconsequential" because they didn't tell him about the plane. Mrs Bush was rushed to safty and bush didn't even know what was going on.

2. LOL
Too funny. Kennedy is one of my favorite democrats up there with Kerry and Reid. I wish he'd run again too. I know he did once in the 80's. Was he very high profiled then? I think he is pretty well known now days and I think he'd do great as a president.

7. "If Ted Kennedy had been driving a Volkswagen
he'd be president by now."

That was the caption in a mock advertisement in the old National Lampoon in the early seventies. That's when Volkswagen was floating their cars in water to demonstrate how tight they were mad.

3. Are you sure it was not FTN and Schieffer?
He said exactly the same thing.

6. He did run for President in 1980 but was defeated by Carter ...

And, unfortunately he'd never get away from "Chappaquiddick." But, I agree, he's a great advocate for us.
