Latest Boston Globe track: Kerry 35, Dean 15, Clark 15, Edwards 12
The latest Boston Globe/WBZ tracking results indicated Kerry stretching his lead to 35 percent, with Dean dipping into a tie with retired Army General Wesley K. Clark at 15 percent, and Senator John Edwards close behind with 12 percent.

Gerry Chervinsky, president of KRC Communications Research, which conducted the poll, said there was no evidence that Dean's debate performance Thursday or his interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's "Prime Time Thursday" had slowed his slide. "He's still going down," Chervinsky said.

2. The only poll that counts is when
the people vote on election day. All the rest is just supposition

3. Go Clark and Edwards!
Dean potentially in fourth would have been unthinkable a month or two ago. Even two weeks ago.

4. It would be hard to imagine Dean getting anything less than 15%
since he has a solid base of some size. I think even 15% is quite low.

9. I agree, though Edwards could pull votes from Kerry and Clark, and
pass Dean. Dean could still end up in fourth with his current 15%.

8. It seems obvious who will win Iowa...
but who will come in second?

Dean must win a strong second to remain a factor in this race, likewise Clark must win second to gain the momentum he needs to win in Oklahoma and South Carolina. Finally..if Edwards comes in third or fourth, I think he will quickly dropout. I also believe this will be the case with Lieberman.

10. Clark is tied w/Dean? Great
for us Clark supporters! I think that this nomination is not a shut case. Clark tied for 2nd in Kerry's neck of the woods is awesome! I am also please that Edwards is moving up.

Sidenote:
I have noticed alot of Dean supporters trying once again to connect with Clark supporters.

So when Clark is leading, he is bashed! When Kerry is leading, Clark becomes Dean's salvation?
