CSPAN WJ: Wash. Times reporter says * press conferences are "news-free." |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-01-05 08:53 AM by CottonBear
This Joseph Curl guy is on WJ right now. I almost fell off my chair. Someone from a RW paper actually admitted that * takes no follow-ups and just repeats his point.
Ah! Caller mentions Downing St. memo and insurgency in Iraaq. Let's see what he has to say! His Answer: "News is cyclical and stories snowball and other stories are old news or not big enough." A total non-answer, of course.
Now a RW caller is asking about AI and who they are while at the same time saying she went to a party w/ Joan Baez in Houston, TX in the 60s for an AI fundraiser. She's pissed off that AI would speak the truth about the Gitmo Gulag.

2. "Not big enough" he said. It's not big because you don't report it! |
|
RW caller calls AI a "hate America first group" Curl says Gitmo stories are just "allegations", "np proof", "Newsweek story is only allegations." Arghh! :grr:

3. Caller asks is * "an intelligent stateman or a figurehead?" |
|
Ah. Curl ignores the "intelligent part of the Q. No, wait, he's both "smart...and a figurehead."
Curl says no "undo pressure from WH to not cover certain stories." Right.

4. Caller asks why * gets away w/ not answering and grammatical blunders |
|
Susan (hosts) deflected most of caller's Q and it focusing on *'s use of the word "hop."
Curl "He's always been tongue-tied, not as smooth as Bill Clinton, his brain is working faster than his (mouth.)"
"I haven't heard anything about impeachment."

7. His brain is working faster than his mouth? Who knows how coordinated |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-01-05 09:06 AM by higher class
his brain and mouth are when he is scheming in a debugged room to order revenge on some 'dis-loyalist'. In public, neither his brain or mouth work right. He is the most lazily brained person the U.S. has ever put in front of a camera, but that is charisma in their 'book'. He snorts pretty good - for those who like stupid joke snorters.

Wouldn't you just love to be a fly on a wall and listen to his private conversations? I think he may be as stupid off-camera.

8. Whoa! I'm floored ... the guy's a honorary Bush-Bot |

Edited on Wed Jun-01-05 09:09 AM by ElectroPrincess
With just mild criticisms, this man is telling us to not believe our eyes. Bush is deluded and dangerous but he says that he's just following a strategy. :wow:
Now I'm freaked out: "What's bad is good, what's up is down ... when you reach the top, you're on the (morality) bottom." Yikes! Welcome to the REAL world 1984 ... the press constantly fills our heads with outright lies. I hope that the sheeple wake up soon. :scared:
