Bush represents the core values that I believe in ... that he will not let minorities use big government to get over on the rest of us. Bush is strong. On the other hand, Viktor Frankl has some optimistic thoughts about this. Sort of:

I have recently discovered something that I find is fairly well confined to conservatives. They think they know. They think they have the world in a formula. I am no more repulsed by a person than those who are this way. It is the absence of humility. And I'm affraid it is genetic. I don't know. If the world population weren't the overriding and driving function, I'd have that last statement as my sig line. I don't know.
Not knowing pulls the rug out from under all agendas. It kills arrogance. It fuels humility. It provides a platform for observation and empathy.

a caller called in. He had David Griffin's book and he let some of his rightwinger friends read it. How did he do that? Well according to him they were going to read it for laughs since they thought it was all "consperiacy" and all that. They didn't go into it thinking it was anything searious and worth while.
