I am beginning to think that W is an evil Forrest Gump. |
|
The amazing and earnest comment that he sure doesn't know much about Watergate confirms for the nth time how oblivious this guy is. He has skipped through his 50+ years ignoring events of huge significance while showing every bit as much curiosity as Forrest did. What if anything has seeped through that thick skull of his other than FDR did terrible things to the free enterprise system? What a vacant little man he remains as he picks through a box of chocolate truffles while his henchman kill, torture, lie and steal. And as he rides his bike in blissful ignorance our country's military, economy, reputation, environment and future spiral quickly down the drain.

11. If you believe that then you are Forrest Gump |

Bush knows more about the events surrounding Watergate then you and I and 99% of the American people will ever know? How dumb does he think we are?
Listen, this guy is making a living by playing the "Forrest Gump President". George Bush is not stupid by any means. He may be a lot of things, including an evil, insidious murderer but he is not stupid. He does his job, as does each and every member of this organized crime family called Bush and his job is "Forrest Gump President". He's damn good at it too, obvious by the constant comments on DU about his stupidity. We have made a serious mistake by underestimating this man, even after we were told by the likes of Bill Clinton and Molly Ivins not to underestimate him. It's we who are not very smart because Bush is winning the game, not us.

12. My point was not that he is stupid, but that he is the least |

curious guy I have ever seen in a position of tremendous power and responsibility. Ever since the plane incursion episode, I have changed my opinion on how involved he is with the operation of this regime. I have come to the conclusion that he has signed on as the figurehead for a cabal that wants to undo the New Deal at home and dominate the world through shock and awe abroad. One of the chief reasons that he can lend his regular guy persona to this woe begotten crusade is that he doesn't consider the consequences of his actions and he cares not a whit about history. His studied ignorance affords him the ability to spout banalities as if they are profound and lies as if they are true. That said, he and those around him should not be underestimated but resisted as the truly destructive forces that they are, And by the way you could have made your argument just as effectively without comparing me to Forrest Gump.

called Gump&Co. Bush is like Forrest as he is portrayed in Gump&Co. Down to a tee. Everything Forrest touches turns to shyte, just like our illustrious *leader*. There's even a pig farm. :)
