This poll, by Suffolk University - shows Kerry 23, Dean 22, and Clark 18.

All within striking distance. It was conducted the 22nd it would seem.

12. If you look at the movement, it's been consistent with
the momentum changes of each candidate.

14. There are a couple of suspect items in the poll

like the downward movement for Kerry between the 18th and 19th...not sure I really understand that. And I'm not sure that I understand Kerry's massive slide downward just in the past couple of days, either. It looks as if Dean and Clark are stealing his support big time.

However, for the most part it looks good. I'm waiting for the tracking polls to really start showing this, but we might have to wait until tomorrow or even Monday for it to register on them.

CNN's still talking about Kerry's "huge lead" because they're so behind right now.

I feel like I'm way ahead of everyone on this...waiting for folks to catch up, like with this last daily poll finally backing up the Zogby Poll. Dunno...maybe I'm out of touch. Doubt it, though.

5. Geeze.
The numbers are everywhere. Anything at all could happen. To be frank, I don't think anyone has a damn clue of what is going on. LOL.

7. The odds....
Edited on Sat Jan-24-04 04:10 PM by CrazyRP
THe odds aren''t great for Clark considering he's been there for over a month. I was excited when he jumped up to 2nd place, but now it looks like Kerry is going to trample him--and I don't see any polls showing him doing well in the South either, where he SHOULD be winning. I think Clark might now be ready for primetime yet, but you had better bet that I'm going to vote for him.

Personally, if we lose (god forbid) I think a Hillarý/Clark ticket wouild be unbeatable in 2008.

BTW... many of you might remember me as RPF113. I had a few thousand posts , but I can't get back into my account. PEACE.

9. That's a daily poll...NOT a tracking poll.
The results look consistent with how each of the candidates have faired.

This looks legitimate. It coincides with the Zogby poll...in fact, Kerry is even lower in this poll than in the Zogby poll.

One more of these and no one's going to be able to deny that Dean is back in the race. My bet is we'll be getting several more confirmations of this this afternoon and tonight.

10. AND...look at CLARK!
That is probably the most significant find of this poll...Clark is coming back, and it looks as if he's siphoning votes from Kerry.

11. One more thing to notice...this is likely Democratic voters,
not independents. If the indies have been going to Kerry, that would explain the difference between the Zogby poll and this one.

15. Dean and Clark moving up, Kerry sinking fast.
I know it's a small poll, but I like the trend. Undecided has regained the lead.
