After all that has happened I feel Dean may not be able to beat W. |
|
I (un)officially declare my self undecided, between Dean Clark and Kerry.
MY suppport in this election is based solely on who I think can beat Busch and Co. If lieberman had the best chance, Id pull for him (ABB 200%).
I saw in a poll in LBN that Kerry actually got 2% more than W, Clark tied, and the rest losing.
Althought I cant say I like Kerry's stance on the issues compared to others, he certainly is looking good.

3. Clark or Kerry is the best choice |
|
I'm a die-hard Kerry supporter, but it's becoming clear that Clark would make a wonderful president as well. I'm also growing on Edwards. Kerry, IMHO, has the best chance to beat Bush and is also the most liberal among the canidates that can win.

8. I disagree, Dean inspired 3500 people to go to -20 weather |
|
for him. Most of the republicans I talked to like Dean the most. 2 of them seem to think Hillary is sabotaging him. Dean has set the tone for this election and he will be the toughest for Bush to beat. I long for a debate b/tw Howard Dean and W.
Other than Dean Clark has been the strongest critic of Bu$h. Why else do you think he was gunned down at the last debate.
You people are foolin' yourselfs if you think Kerry is the toughest opponent for Bu$h.

14. Problem is, he'll need to inspire about 51 million to vote for him. |

His support is deep, but not broad.

2. what do you expect after the Iowa loss and the media on-slaught |
|
over his concession speech? of course it will show Kerry rising because he got all the positive attention and Dean losing ground because of all the negative attention. If Dean pulls an upset now in NH it will be the start of the "Comeback Kid" stuff that Clinton had in '92 and Dean will begin a rebound in all the polls again. These things go in cycles like this.

4. Dean has a better chance than you think. |
|
After today Kerry will never get my vote in The primary, so that puts him at the bottom of my list. If by the slimmest of chances Kerry's beats the odd & gets the nomination that is the only way he will get my vote.

I was busy today watching Clark on C-Span and then preparing my E-Block letter to send to SC voters. What show/station/venue? What was the gist of his attack?

15. In virtually all polls |
|
and projecections, Kerry is most likely to win N.H. and most likely that Clark comes in second. An independent surge is most likely to go towards Clark not Dean, ans mot of Clarks lead prior to Iowa did not come from democrats, but from independents, who have siphoned off towards Kerry on issues of electability.
Right now Kerry is the most electable candidate and 2 to 1 most voters vote on electability rather than issues. In New Hampshire, that holds most true with more than twice as many people polled, independents and democrats indicate that they wil select the person who is most electable, rther than select a campaign based on issues.

Voters can't rally behind "the Democratic Nominee" before we have one. Don't give in to "worst case scenarios." Turn off the cable news. Go for a walk. Read a book. Be positive.

He's the best prez candidate I've ever seen; one of the best humans I've ever seen. Give him a road test!
