Does anyone seriously think *POOF* he got smarter?
This is still the bumbling idiot who befuddled his way through three pathetic debates - even with live coaching! - created a Middle Eastern civil war, murdered tens of thousands of innocent people, called it a success ON THE DECK of a AIRCRAFT CARRIER!, was a complete business failure, sold Sammie Sosa, was a middle-aged drug abuser, and mediocre, C-Student in college.

This is our leader???

And all of a sudden he's going to shape world politics, spread a world religion, fix SS, and the health care crisis?

Look at what we're dealing with here!!

2. There's something you have to understand about bush. He's NOT an idiot.
although he plays one on teevee.

Granted, he's no rocket scientist either, but this is how it is, with a fucker like him;

He's shrewd.. He's calculating and careful.

That said, there are times when he speaks pretty well, for being a hitler reincarnate; he sounds like the idiot when he attempts to pretend he cares about something, like, people, starvation, world hunger, health care and the general, actual well being of anyone not rich, white and male.

He can speak very well about baseball, death row, war, killing people and so on.

He trips over his words when he doesn't believe himself.... that's the entire key to bush.

7. Read "The Bush Dyslexicon" by Mark Crispin Miller.
It's blue-blood arrogance and laziness, not stupidity. He's clever enough if it means more power and profit for the Bush** Crime Family.

4. Yup, the corporatists who own the Republicon party know it's easier...
...to sell the suckers a steaming pile of shit if the suckers think the salesman's a yokel.

For details on this age-old psy-ops tactic, read Sun Tsu's "The Art of War."

5. I agree that he trips over words when he doesn't believe himself
I see the wheels turning as Bush is trying to speak and remember the story du jour at the same time.

That's the problem with having surrounded himself with lies and dissassembling--unlike remembering things that actually happen or are true, he has to remember both the inventions and to avoid letting certain truths slip out. It's hard work, and he has to think before, and during, every sentence.

People have remarked that Bush wasn't stumbletounged when he was governor, and I believe it. When Bush was governor he wasn't on TV every day as the main actor in a particularly complex and contrived drama. He wasn't trying to both hide his true agenda and make up false facts in a single news conference.

That's why he is at his best when he has a carefully drafted speech that he can repeat verbatim.

6. So in other words, we have an evil Elmer Fudd as our leader.

On second glance, my analogy didn't hold up.
