HELP: HILLARY CLINTON 2008! |
|
(BTW...Some of you might remember me from my several thousand posts as rpf113. I'm waiting for my password.)
Now I am hoping as much as anyone here that Bush gets his behind kicked in 2004, but I think it's time we start hedging our bets and getting a grassroots campaign giong for Hillary in 2008.
So I need volunteers! I need someone to make a 'Draft Hillary 2008' website. Let's get on Meetup.com.
HILLARY! HILLARY! HILLARY!

She's pretty far to the right, and carries way too much political baggage to pull off a win.

37. I hated the Bush coronation...and certainly won't support a Clinton Two |
|
Hillary is senator because she's the cuckolded wife of one of America's favorite presidents. She votes out of one side of her mouth and talks lovey dovey to us out of the other. Everything is calculated for a run in the general election. Sorry, but I found it hard to take her seriously as a Senator, and would never vote for her in the primary. I hate political dynasties...I don't believe because you are related to a Kennedy or Bush anyone should vote for you. Democracy is supposed to be the voice of the populace...I'm frankly tired of this political nepotism, and stunned that the voters continue to support it.

What are Hillary's virtues as a candidate/President?

If we do that, polling places on Election Day have be having record Republican turnouts. And why should she be drafted for 2008 when we haven't even had the 2004 election yet?

Let's not and say we did.
The only thing I admire abut Hillary is that she doesn't bake cookies but will pretend to when competing with Barbara Bush's false matronly image as a cookie-baker.
Hope Hillary isn't counting on my support because it won't be there.

Hillary is NOT who I want representing the DEM party ever. She is an opportunistic snake, whose positions are like her husbands.. she looks at the polls for what she should vote for, and is inauthentic as hell. Plus, if she ever got the nom, she is such a polarizing and despised figure by the Repugs that the Rep party wouldn't have to raise a dime to get them to vote againist her.

The media loves to talk about "Hillary", so I guess that means actual DEMS cant get enough of her- right?
Just because Fox, Rush, Drudge and Newsmax cant give up the Hillary thing does not make it a reality with actual DEMS.
Please, keep on thinking that DEMS are what the media says we are. It will make it easier for us to suprise & confuse our enemies...

She can go for re-election in NY, which she should win easily, giving her 12 years cred for the presidential run in 2012.
I'd bet that's the real Clinton plan.

Hilary is a symptom of what's WRONG with this party.
We don't need another Corporocratic president. Slick Willy did enough damage to this party in a scant eight years to last us a lifetime. He's made us all be irrelevant to blue-collar workers, who were once one of our core demographic.
IF indeed she is drafted in 2008, I will work my ass off to keep her from the nomination. One Clinton presidency every century is one too many.

She'd be a landslide loser in all probability, we can do much better for the first female nominee. Mary Landrieu, Dianne Feinstein etc.

in a sense. We shouldn't undermine this election and I am determined to win. (A Poll today showed Kerry beating Bush by 2%, very encouraging.)
But, god forbid, we don't win I think we need a superstar candidate to devastate the 2008 or 2012 Republicans and think that we need to get the wheels moving on this bus as soon as possible.
I don't know if you guys have been following her, but she has become the practical head of the Democratic Party. She still beats all of the other candidates when polled. So if she can beat John Kerry in a heartbeat, and Kerry can beat Bush, the Hillary should be able to take him on, or any of his neoconservative allies.
(BTW...Some of you might remember me from my several thousand posts as rpf113. I'm waiting for my password.)
Now I'd appreciate it if people didn't post anymore negative opinions on this thread. I can't believe the venom Democrats have for Hillary. You sound exactly like Rush Limbaugh, and that's pathetic. Hillary is a good, honest woman, a shrewd politician and a sure winner in 2008 or 2012. She is immensely popular.
SO IF ANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN ME ON STARTING A DRAFT HILLARY WEBSITE WHICH WE WILL DEBUT AFTER THE 2004 ELECTION, SHOULD BUSH WIN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

We need to focus like a laser beam on this election.
Hillary can get in the back of the line behind the next president if from our party, or of we do not win, gets at the back behind experience people like Kerry, Dean, Edwards, Clark, Gore, DK, Al, Carol and then she can start at the back.

If I was to think about 2008 at all, it would be about re-electing the Democratic president that uprooted the Shrub back in '04. That's got to be the whole focus of every Democrat. And, if we should not prevail this year, and if there are still free elections in 2008, who knows who'll be looking good by then. Might be one of these guys..might be someone we're not even thinking about yet.

I hope that she will have a place in a cabinet as a senior adviser and this time, on her own account.
