Here's why the media hesitate to cover BushCo
By John W. Dean
FindLaw columnist

The Bush administration prosecutes government officials who leak sensitive information, even when that information is not classified.

The Bush administration also is prepared to send reporters to jail when they refuse to reveal their sources to a grand jury, as I noted in another column.

Hats off to those willing to thumb their noses at Bush in public. You can't have a truly free press, or even a First Amendment, when these abuses of power occur. It's reprehensible and is an attempt, as aspect of, clearing the way for any behaviour they see fit. Screw their climate of fear. That is the way of cowards.

4. You're so right.
And when a pyramid scheme collapses, the base lose their livlihoods and the top go to jail.

3. They knew what the press was for when they took the job.
Chickenshit bastards are selling their country down the drain...
because they're afraid of jail?!

What about the people frigging dead and dying because of them being afraid of jail?

Fuggem...I've got neither sympathy nor understanding for the quivering "press corps".
:argh:
