Look,
Senator Kerry cannot win against Bush. It's that simple. He's got too much dirt in his past, and too many points on which Karl Rove will attack. (Offshore Trust Account, previous marriages, voted for War Resolution, voted for Patriot Act).
I'm from the south originally, and there is simply nothing more despised in the South than a blue-blood Northeasterner with a wet-blanket personality.
So what if the media appointed him king for a day. I have grave doubts about his ability to win. There's simply too much at stake in this election to play around with this.
