Kerry will "raise the issue" on Monday. (DSM)
"When I go back (to Washington) on Monday, I am going to raise the issue," he said of the memo, which has not been disputed by either the British or American governments. "I think it's a stunning, unbelievably simple and understandable statement of the truth and a profoundly important document that raises stunning issues here at home. And it's amazing to me the way it escaped major media discussion. It's not being missed on the Internet, I can tell you that."

7. Yeah, he NEEDS to have a press conference
either right before or right after he "raises the issue" - something he should have done more of during the campaign but yeah i agree with wtmusic, we need to hit the media hard

3. Well John Kerry... If You're Lurking Around Here
just want to say, give 'em HELL! I'm so sick of waiting for somebody to really raise a ruckus! Poor Barbara Boxer has been doing it all by her lonesome, and she's just a little thing!

Why don't you get a "gang" together and RUSH them!!!!

9. MOST DEFINITELY!!
The NUMERO UNO!! I was just addressing the Senators, since they're supposed to be the big hitters.

Got to give Conyers more credit than ANYONE! The guy has been a real slugger and is aiming for a Grand Slam!

Go, Johnny, GO!!!!

4. Good for him
Hopefully, some people in Washington will lift their heads out of the sand and unplug their ears and listen to him.

I think it's pretty sad that the place where the most productive discussion of this memo is taking place is the INTERNET(s).

5. Kerry "raised the issue" about the election fraud last year,
Edited on Fri Jun-03-05 07:10 PM by brainshrub
Kerry "raised the issue" about election fraud last year by surrendering the next day. Then he ignored pleas for help from Libertarians & Greens who single-handedly had to fight to get the money and signatures to have a recount, while Kerry sat on a war-chest of tens of millions of dollars.
Finally, at the last minute, John Kerry filed a wimpy last-minute complaint then sent a bulk email asking for support before skipping the country while Democracy died.

I'll "Raise the issue" he says.

Peh. :eyes:

I'll believe that when I see it.

10. Good Point...
He did wimp out after the last election.
Kind of like a dog that rolls over and pisses himself.

12. ripeness is all
Think about it. The weeks right after Junior's "victory" were not a good time for Kerry to start complaining about election fraud. It wouldn't have gotten traction.

Well the honeymoon is over, the Brits are rebelling, Iraq is sucking down billions annually, Chimp is trying to toss Social Security in the same toilet...

Now the time is ripe.

14. This Misconception about the Post-Election Efforts brought to you by...
Edited on Fri Jun-03-05 11:31 PM by zulchzulu
...someone who didn't follow the story....

Kerry conceded knowing that it is NOT a legally-binding act. He also knew that he could not count air as votes where BBV machines did exactly that...untraceable, unaccountable votes...

Additionally, there were many legal efforts within the legal teams working with Kerry/Edwards to find out answers.

As for the other misconception of a "war chest of millions", yes, Kerry didn't break the bank or not have enough money (he had about $15M) to pay vendors for supplies used in the campaign. Bumperstickers, political events and other campaign expenses aren't free. Also, Kerry had an inkling he was going to need funds for legal teams AFTER the election.

Also, the other lie that Kerry ignored Green, Libertarian and other efforts after the election is bullshit.

Do your homework and stop listening to the mealy-mouthed poor sports who were for some other primary candidate and continue to defacate the same old lies about Kerry's post-election efforts.

Stop eating your own...blindly.
