only terrorists have been killed in Iraq - not an innocent civilian in the bunch, and since the American casualities are downplayed or ignored, they have no idea how many soldiers are dying or being maimed every day.

They think the Abu Ghraib photos are depictions of fraternity pranks and that the people responsible are a few bad apples at the bottom of the military totem pole.

4. My repub mother, who is a little pissed at boosh

because of all the religion, still believes that we were in imminent danger from Iraq & that "getting rid of Hussein was worth every penny." That was a few months ago. She visited last week & commented that the interstate highway is in terrible condition. I mentioned that the $300 billion we've spent in Iraq would have gone a long way to updating our infrastructure, roads, bridges, schools, etc. I was met with stoney silence.
