Kerry given pass on Leno, O'Brien
Count on me to keep up with the highly-relevant late night TV aspect of this race :P.

Last night Dennis Miller was on Jay Leno. Of course Miller has become a Republican comedybot, and systematcially sliced and diced our boys. He even blatantly called Dean and Clark "stupid." He bashed everyone EXCEPT...John Kerry. "I don't want to see him win, but that guy's got a clean slate with me," Miller says. Because Kerry was in Vietnam.

Then on Conan O'Brien they did the talking TV set thing again. Dean was a raving nut, Lieberman put his own self to sleep, Kucinich was a munchkin, Edwards' positivity and nice-guyness was an act. But Kerry? No Kerry jokes. Hmm...

Why no Kerry jokes? Any ideas?

2. The Boston connection?
I believe that Leno and O'Brien are both from the Boston area.

Conan, in particular, says he gets an earful from his mother whenever he jokes about the Catholic Church. Maybe she's a Kerry supporter too!

3. Because they went after him most of last year.
Wooden, stiff, a tree, boring....

Now what...Kerry caught fire, what can they say?

My other feeling is that these guys were eligible to serve and were thankful that Kerry came back from war and helped put an end to it. That saved their asses from going to Nam.

That was no small thing at the time.

4. He got reamed on the Daily Show after Iowa
Boring, phony, reinvention, it's all been laid at his feet. Relax, it happens to everyone at one point or another in the campaign.

5. If Kerry's ever in NY he should go on Conan by riding in on a moped
I think that would get a laugh

6. Conan's spoof of Dean was the funniest
Dean was on pills a la Rushbo to calm down. Conan then asked a question about Dean's electability, and Dean flared up started is screaming diabtribe. Kucinich, because he's an elf, was eaten by a frog.

12. Well, Jeeez Louis. I thought you knew the conspiracy, man...
Skull and Bones owns all the networks (and your mind) and has special software to de-negativize any comments about Skull and Bones members...
