Anyone else excited about the primary season? |
|
I think it shows the great strength of the left. We have a very liberal senator and a quite moderate senator. We have a firebrand populist governor, and a Rhodes scholar general. We have an epitome of leftist values from the House. We have a civil rights activist from the cities, and a Horatio Alger story senator.
Now unfortunately most of these factions in our party and the Left in general hate each other's guts, and that's too bad. That said, I hope we NEVER unite along the lines of the Republicans, and I hope we always keep the party open to diverse views even if it costs us a few elections. :(

2. Indeed, I'll happily support any of the candidates that win the |
|
nomination. We ought to be able to enthusiasticly support our choice without smearing any of the other candidates in the process. Leave that up to the Republican ops...that's their job.

This is the first election I'm really excited for. I'm new to the whole political game although I've always voted since I was legal. I can't wait for Tuesday.

stoked because our candidates are great, but nervous because more is at stake than ever before. it's do or die.
