Iraqis are paying the ultimate price for an unnecessary war.
Edited on Sat Jun-04-05 08:23 PM by Shrubhater
The Iraqi civilian death toll is now over 100,000, witch means that 0.392% of the Iraqi population before the war has died, and almost 1,700 U.S. soldiers have perished in Iraq. It's been over 2 years since * declared "Mission accomplished.", yet the war still continues. Since the war, car and suicide bombings in Iraq have almost become routine. Sometimes a hundred Iraqis die EACH DAY. This unnecessary war was no doubt NOT worth its cause. The intention was to remove Saddam from power. Instead, we did that, and are killing thousands of Iraqis unnecessarily, and making life in the Middle East unsafe for everyone. This war is hurting a LOT more than it's helping. So why doesn't it stop? IT SHOULD.

4. Too much oil in Iraq etc & too much money in the US treasury.
Got to do the trickle down economics here - US treasury to defense contractors to repub pockets.
