What if Lieberman finishes a surprising 3rd?
How would the media spin it? He's surging up into double digits in some of the polls and NH is made up of lots of independents. Clark is sliding. Edwards is moving upward but slowly. A Kerry Dean Lieberman third place finish would certainly shock a lot of people, beating both Edwards and Clark.

3. I really doubt he's that high
most polls put him in the 5-8% range. 10 seems like a little much. I also don't think kucinich has 3% in NH.

4. DU would be full of interesting comments the next day
Let's see...
1. TV networks were promoting, him;
2. Black Box Voting machines were rigged
3. Republican cross overs
4. Aliens doing mind control, maybe?

I don't buy it. Lieberman just smells dead right now. My guess is that he's gonna drop after Feb 3 and then quietly endorse Kerry. It'll b e funny watching the Dean people attacking Kerry for this and the Kerry people reacting.
