Blair in DC, Downing Street Memo, planets finally aligned?
Just a reminder Tony Blair will be visiting the White House on Tuesday 6/7.

I caught Fox talking heads (2 creepy older guys, Beltway Boys?) last night discussing the hot news topics for next week.

They said with Tony Blair in Washington, NEXT WEEKS NEWS FROM WASHINGTON WILL BE ALL ABOUT THE DOWNING STREET MEMO.

Is it too much to dream that the tide is turning?

Let's keep pushing, and brace ourselves for the spin and backlash.

1. Nixon thought he was in control and a badass up to
the point where we reached the critical mass needed to turn the media and the rest of the zombified populace around. I hope they have a cell at Guantanamo for these neoCONvicts.

3. I'm sure if Gannon had saved a blue dress or something of
the sort..... we might be seeing some sort of action by now. :)

7. The times, they have a-changed
Back in Nixon's day there was something resembling an independent media and a large "counter-culture" challenging the CREEPs in the White House.

Sorry, but neither an independent media nor a viable people's counter-culture exist today to challenge Bush.

I'm not being defeatist, just realistic. I think we can still pull together and keep eroding the Bush junta's authority, but it's an uphill battle at this point.

6. Bush and Blair have to meet to make sure their stories are straight
The first thing a good detective does is separate the two suspects to look for inconsistancies in their stories. The press should grab Blair before he has a chance to meet with the ringleader.
