Wouldn't the World and the US be safer if Bush/Cheney were Impeached?
At this point wouldn't American's bringing their Government to account for lying to their own people be the best display of "Democracy in Action" to show the world that the US Constitution still stands for a Government based on laws and the "people's interests" as written into the Consitution and Bill of Rights?

If America would just once admit the Lie wouldn't we regain respect we once had? Or, have things gone to far with the BFEE's evil influence for decades for it to matter much anymore.

1. America would be better with Junior behind bars.
Along with the rest of his handlers.

4. ACCOUNTABILITY
To my great relief, I found out recently that while nations wage war, individuals are guilty of war crimes. This administration should be held accountable - all of them; I don't think the rest of the succession to the Presidency would be much of an improvement. Furthermore, I believe that if nothing is done, we (as represented in Congress) are guilty of complicity.

8. We are "guilty of conspiracy" ....that's what worries me... If we don't
do something, we and our children and grandchildren will be blamed for destabilizing the world for the whim's of Corporate/Globalized/Empire with the Bush/Baker's pusing the Carlyle Group and our own Financial Institutions "in on the take."

The WORLD is waking up...there are protests everywhere. The EU Constitution failed because it "catered to the globalists." I don't want to be left behind in Bush/PNAC's vision of the NEW AMERICAN EMPIRE.

I don't want drafts and endless wars with my money going to "spread Democracy ...which is just Bush/Blair/MultiNational Corp's idea of "Plunder and Reap."

I can't have that on MY conscience. I thought as a citizen it was my right to stand up to abuses by our government. Something got rewritten along the way since I was in school.

5. We would be better no matter who is next in line
The world would see that we believe in our Constitution, not just play the "do as I say not as I do" game.

I confess, I am not holding my breath that anything will come of the DSM.

6. Don't know much
'bout world safety or how an impeachment would play out, but if nothing is done, if the "lie" is permitted to stand, then we can expect more of the same.

That to me is a very great danger.

I'm big on accountability these days. Can't help myself.

If we lived in a country where those who were hard-working, loving people were thrown in jail, and those found guilty of serial killings were awarded huge cash bonuses and set free; what sort of society would result?

Do the crime; pay the time.

9. Just as in the '70s, the CIA with guys like Robert F. Bennett are needed
Otherwise the impeachment can't happen.

An anonymous CIA agent according to DemocracyNOW! has filed suit against Bush. Hopefully this will cause the intell community to cascade the information needed to show the intentional lies to Congress that then passed the Iraq War resolution relying upon those lies.

CIA Agent Says Bosses Ordered Him To Falsify WMD Reports
http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=04/12/16/1445203

Just as the M$M are covering up for the Woodward/CIA connections right now, they are ignoring the lies about WMD and the Downing Street Memo...

10. Yeah, but...
They didn't work alone, and a lot of the people who need to do time with them are those who have to vote to impeach.

And getting an impeachment two-fer? Not gonna happen. Denny Hastert shouldn't get his hopes up.

The only way we got Nixon out was to get Agnew first. Stop talking Bush and look for Cheney's chinks.
