I can tell you, exactly how John Kerry (or any other Dem with balls) ...
Edited on Sun Jun-05-05 07:25 PM by Rosco T.
.. can be elected in 2008.

Start running RIGHT NOW, and ASSUME (symbolic) control of the Government RIGHT NOW as a 'government in exile'.

Come out and say "I'm running for president in 2008, and I want to American People to know EXACTLY what I'm running for and how I will do my work..

This is my Vice President
This is my Sec of State
This is my Sec of Defense
This is my Ambassador to the United Nations

(and so on)

I want you to know RIGHT NOW who you would be voting for ..."

Then, each and EVERY time Chimp or one of his ilk sticks his foot in his mouth or does something to embarrass this nation or make the shit deeper...

The appropriate person comes forward and says "NO! This is not right, this is what we would do and this is how we would do it.."

Not after the fact, WHEN IT HAPPENS.

PROPOSE LEGISLATION with SPECIFIC SOLUTIONS to SPECIFIC PROBLEMS

Social Security
Vet Benefits
Energy Independence
Health Care
Election Reform

GET A DEM IN THE HOUSE/SENATE TO PROPOSE THE SAME LEGISLATION. When the Thugs shoot them down or stifle the legislation, come out "SEE HOW THE MINORITY-MAJORITY WON'T LISTEN! We'll be there for you in 2008, BUT WE NEED YOU TO SET THE STAGE IN 2006".

Have AT LEAST one member of the "Government-in-exile" (more if possible) attend every single funeral for those killed in Chimp's War. Be there to meet every flag-drapped coffin coming home...

THE GOVERNMENT OF THE MAJORITY IN EXILE.

It will once and for all quash the 'Dems have no ideas' crap coming from the Thugs.. and will make them INSANE..

Yes, it turns the entire process on it's head, but we face desperate times and desperate UNORTHODOX measures are needed.

1. You mean John Kerry has balls now?
Dr. Dean must've took them back from the DLC and had them reattatched. I LOVE Barbarra Boxer, and want her to have my baby.

5. Like it or not, every thing Kerry said about Chimp has come true...
.. that give him standing above any other candidate. But it dosen't have to be Kerry, just someone with the guts to turn things upside down and GRAB THE THUGS BY THEIR BALLS.

2. Kerry is the real president, but is too afraid to take the job.
I would forget 2008 at this point. Gross manipulation, fraud and money paid scams in the 2004 election prove we no longer have a democracy in one such sense.

4. yup, this is what should have happened before the last election...
I think they should have attacked the idea when it occurred. They should have pointed out what Rove was doing as he was doing it, and label it as the propaganda and dirty tricks it was.

That is not a bad idea!

Edited on Sun Jun-05-05 07:29 PM by Goldeneye
or everyone would do it. Only things I can come up with now is they'd have 4 years of being attacked and it depending on how seriously you compaign...it could be expensive.

9. There has been too much deference up until now
We like to respect the office of the president, traditionally, while the Brits are a much more bawdy bunch. But I think desperate times call for....us to do something exactly like you have described. We don't need to name people to posts, but we do need to get a lot more visible--Dem comments on everything, showing what Dems believe. They are doing this to some extent now. It needs to be kicked up a notch or two.

Bush has already trashed the office of the president and anything connected to it. Lying war criminal--I want my country back!

11. I agree with all that.
How nice would it be to have a few people who were always up front leading the way and giving us our cues? Dean is doing important work...but it would be nice to have some marching orders.

15. I read in the Kerry forum all the time...
Edited on Sun Jun-05-05 09:13 PM by Goldeneye
he is definately doing some good work. I love that guy :loveya: . But I still feel a little bit leaderless.

I think if he (or anyone else) did what I want, they would probably be over politically. I don't want that for Kerry...I want a president Kerry. I want someone who has nothing to lose... I want them screaming about how bad this adminstartion is, how it's destroying the middle class, and waging a war of aggression based on lies, and how they're stealing elections and trying to overthrow democratically elected leaders and on and on. Kerry is doing most of these things in a more subdued (and politically smarter) way.

8. That is essentially the strategy I find to be necessary to win
I have been saying this forever now the problem with Democrats/Progressives is that our side comes off as pussies and when the other side tries to bully us we take the gentleman way out which DOES NOT WORK IN AMERICA

America is a land overall of people who want the guy who looks tough and acts tough and isn't afraid to spill blood to get things done.

This is how cowards like Bush win.

Did he have a record of heroism in war like Kerry did? did he co adopt a plan to fight terrorism like Gore did? NOPE the opposite the sniveling little shit did nothing more than talk tough with no record to back it up and guess what.......the sheep fell for it

Now before you overtly sensitive types start asking me "so what we need someone who can kill someone?" NO what I am saying is IN ADDITION to all the talk of compassion and how we want to make the govt work for the people ect, we have to combat the Repuke's parties' strongest offensive plan which is they talk shit and they get away with it unanswered unchallenged in their comments.

So this next election after all the hoo and haws about economics and morals blah blah when the repuke candidate brings up how the Democrats supported Saddam ect I want to see our candidate say

FUCK YOU LOOK AT THIS PICTURE MOTHERFUCKER LOOK AT IT!!!

Secondly you son of a bitch while our side was actually stopping terror in its tracks and going after Bin Laden YOUR PEOPLE YOUR SO CALLED MORAL MAJORITY TYPES WERE SCREAMING "NO WAR FOR MONICA!"

So you know somethin you got nothing to say asshole after your track record of what should be America's legacy of freedom and instead turned it into a legacy of lies, deciet and immorality and here and now it STOPS

YOUR legacy of lying YOUR legacy of robbing YOUR legacy of cowardism in the face of the enemy STOPS and I as candidate X will see to it that YOUR people are put away where they fucking belong, and peace and prosperity are brought back to this country before YOU and YOUR people destroyed it

10. howard dean has the balls ... and he is a man who does not play the silly
game that others play. He tells it like it is. And the others don't like him for it. But, by being elected Chairman of the Democratic party, i don't know if he has taken himself out of the running as a result of it.

14. I like the plan, but not really crazy about the candidate.
I actually had proposed a scenario similar to this when I thought Dean was going all the way, so I still think the idea is great.

Kerry.... not so great. But then, it's 2005 and we have plenty of time to work that out. Naming a prospective cabinet in late 2007/early 2008 has it's merits, but not really this early.

Dems in Congress need to set their own agenda to win in 2006. And it can't be the agenda of Biden, Hillary, Landrieu, etc. because those traitors are selling the party and the country down the river.
