In response to the tightening of the N.H race (Dean supporters Only)
Edited on Sat Jan-24-04 06:18 PM by Mass_Liberal
its tightening up, we can win it! I feel envigorated like never before. I was deep into depression after Iowa and was dispairing that we would lose. But now, we have a new chance! A lease on life. Let's go out and get our man elected!!!!!

1. dont ever despair
just to claim for ego's sake to be allied with the "winner" at any given point in time. The stakes are far higher here than any one individual. In the final analysis, it doesn't matter what relay runner gets to carry the baton over the finish line, but that the other runners were there to help him to victory. Great projects were never completed solely by the man who ended up getting the credit.

2. Great interview of Dean on C-span. Wish the interview with him and his
wife could be shown over and over.

3. We always have to believe
in the Dr. I think Dean has redeemed himself in the last few days and his supporters are as hungry as ever to win NH and to get back on track. Iowa was a blow but it's only one state. It's over and done with now and all we can do is look to the future--a future when the DEMS are back in the White House with Dean as their commander-in-chief.

4. Has everyone seen the real, undistorted version of the really? Run
don't walk to "http://idiomstudio.com" - its very busy but it has the real rally - the one that the media didn't distort the audio on - spread the word. Its utterly great! Now we have to get it on TV.

5. Yes!!
Like you, I was very depressed after Iowa and got a little swept up in the negative publicity he was receiving.

But the last couple of days, I seem to have tapped into this collective energy from Dean supporters and I feel SO excited about the future!!!

GO DEAN!!!!!!!!!!

6. To think that Dean is done
after all of one caucus, is silly. He's still got a long way to go. Actually, whoever is the eventual nominee has a long way to go. Don't forget, he has some 70 super delegates so far.

7. keep the faith everyone,
keep your head held high, and passion and optimism contageous. I suspect that Dean's straight talk is Bush's worst nightmare for the debates and they know it. Although I like his personal record, Kerry has a pretty liberal voting record and the pubbies will crucify that later. Dean on the other hand is a fiscal conservative - their supposed platform - so they will continue to hammer him in the media to discredit him, even if/when Kerry becomes the frontrunner. The pubbies are going to get dirty so get your flack jackets on and keep marching on.

8. It ain't over 'til it's over!
We're creeping back up in the polls (yesterday's results), we have a TON of money, an energized base, a GREAT organization, etc., and anyone who thinks that NH is a 'do or die' contest is whistling past the graveyard. We're gonna do well there, and we're in this thing until the end! :)

10. Expect a roller-coaster ride folks.
We're in it for the long haul. No matter what the pundits say, NH is not "must" win for Dean. It's a small state in the big picture. Super Tuesday is very important. That will probably weed somebody or two out.
