Kerry signed his 180 and his complete records were given to the media.

Why not Mr. Bush? What does he have to lose?
after all, such a brave commander-in-chief who isn't up for reelection should have no reason not to release those records, right?

1. I Agree.
But why did it take so long for Kerry to do so? I give him props for doing it... but still.

Now its time for the all powerful Fuhrer to put up or shut up.

2. Maybe he would not release them when commanded to by
the Swifties, but is now willing to use them to screw Bush.

Not the strategy I would have picked, but Democrats can still use this.

8. this is why, in Kerry's own words:

"The call for me to sign a 180 form came from the same partisan operatives who were lying about my record on a daily basis on the Web and in the right-wing media. Even though the media was discrediting them, they continued to lie. I felt strongly that we shouldn't kowtow to them and their attempts to drag their lies out."

4. Get ready for
for the right wing attack machine. I checked a couple of those nut job sites (I need a shower now!) and they are all whining about why there isn't anything about Kerry's original discharge. I don't know much about this but according to these wackos Kerry got some kind of discharge and it was changed 6 years later during Carters administration.

Kerry allows Navy release of military, medical records

Show numerous commendations

By Michael Kranish, Globe Staff | June 7, 2005

WASHINGTON -- Senator John F. Kerry, ending at least two years of refusal, has waived privacy restrictions and authorized the release of his full military and medical records.

The records, which the Navy Personnel Command provided to the Globe, are mostly a duplication of what Kerry released during his 2004 campaign for president, including numerous commendations from commanding officers who later criticized Kerry's Vietnam service.
