I sent a very polite email to my Pub Senator about Bolton.
Here's his response!

Thank you for contacting me regarding the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

Mr. Bolton has worked with foreign governments, international institutions, nongovernmental organizations, and the private sector for over three decades. As Assistant Secretary for International Organizations, he acted as the active force in implementing the President s agenda to counter the threat of the proliferation of dangerous weapons. As Assistant Secretary for International Organizations, he sought to ensure management and budget reforms in the U.N. and promoted the tolerance of religious freedom internationally.

John Bolton takes an evenhanded yet firm approach to international security and the advocacy of human rights. He understands the need for U.N. reform to re-establish international confidence and respect in this governing body. He recognizes the crucial role the U.S. must play in this reform, and he will represent U.S. interests effectively. I hope the Senate will quickly vote to approve his nomination.

I sent him a response, thanking him for NOT representing his constituents, and that we'd see what happens when he's up for re-election in 2008!

SOB!!!!

3. Yes it was Saxby! Wonder if we can get Max to run again?
I bet if he would run against either Saxby or Johnny, he'd win!
