Maybe I'm a little late on this..i'm pissed
Just heard how Joe Biden and John Edwards were talking badly about Howard Dean. I am so f*&^#^ing mad. The betrayal I feel toward them is almost double what I'm feeling for bush right now. Could you imagine a republican politician saying anything at all negative about Ken Mehlman. It would never happen!!! And it sure as hell shouldn't happen to Howard Dean!!

These idiots are supposed to be on our side. At least they are pretending to be. Remember how republicans said how the clinton's had lesbian and animal sex at the white house on christmas day and how they worshiped the devil and clinton had attacked and raped several women. Yet OH NO!! we can't be at all negative toward the republicans that are fucking this country up in every possible way.

1. No doubt.
I've never cared for Edwards to begin with. He never impressed me.

2. Which Republicans said those things, though?
I don't know why people here expect our leadership to take roles that aren't taken by Republican leadership on the other side, but by Republican extremists and rumor mills.

4. Biden and Edwards were trapped
The MSM spun it to make it seem like Dean's comments were aimed at your run of the mill Nascar dads and lowly bible thumpers. You and I know that is not what Dean meant in theat statement, but most of the country believes everything the TV says. As much as I agree with Dean, I do not blame Edwards or Biden for their comments. Infighting is counter-productive and will only hurt us in coming elections.

5. Please read what the context was, via Edwards himself. Instructive!

11. I have always loved his eloquence.
He is a wonderful communicator. I hope to see Edwards back in 2008, although many feel he lacks "experience", whatever that means. He had as much "experience" as DumbDumb did.

7. Maybe it's like "good cop bad cop" and it's all part of the strategy...
you got Dean appealing to one demo and Biden/Edwards reassuring to the other demo. We do need both demographics to win as do the repugs. They can't squeak by with nothing but fundies

8. So because the Corporate Media knows how to play "gotcha!"...
...we're ready to assume the worst about people who are, to use your parlance, "supposed to be on our side?" I expect better from us. Progressives are supposed to believe in rigorous intellectual scrutiny. And I suspect from your comments, you really haven't scrutinized this situation.
