Caimpaign slogans that you're sick of?
"give the president a one-way bus ticket back to Crawford, Texassss."

Ok, I think Dean has played that one to the hilt. When you can hear a speech and know that the same slogan will be there, well, it gets old.

It's your turn. Name the candidate and his slogan that turns you off.

3. You're right
Dean should change the message to "let's send Bush in his limo back to Crawford Texas where he might actually be a parent to his spastic daughters."

5. Kerry and his aircraft carrier line
he needs to stop telling us he knows about carriers for real and stop with the "bring it on" line. It just doesn't ring true to me, he only goes after Bush with he thinks he has to to gain ground in the race.

26. Kerry's has got some good ones though
The one person in the United States who deserves to be laid off is George W. Bush

Bush-league recovery

George Bush’s motto is “leave no special interest behind.”

The most inept, reckless. arrogant. ideological foreign policy in modern history.

We need a President who fights for a fair retirement for every family not Paradise Island for millionaires

10. Son of a millworker can beat the son of a president
At least change it to "Son of a millworker can beat that son of a bitch". But even that's not as grating as the constant repetition of "when I got back from Vietnam".

Also, "you have the power", "there are two Americas", "I'm a straight shooter", "higher standard of leadership", and "regime change in Washington".

11. Slogan I'm sick of....
"Bush/Cheney '04" or "I stand with President George W Bush and our troops". If I see any more rusted out pickup trucks with those stickers next to their "Nuke 'em and take their oil" bumper stickers, I'm gonna snap.

12. "Bring it on"
is getting tiresome (sorry, Kerry supporters.)

Besides, Bush first uttered those words in whatever speech it was. Think he said, "bring them on!" or something like that.

14. Good for college drinking games
They wear on you but then you just have to tell yourself that not everyone is paying as close attention to the candidates as we are. I still hear new applause for old lines. I had the feeling that John Kerry's crowd was waiting for him to holler 'Bring It On' so they could holler with him. Fun.

22. "Terror Alert at Orange; President Urges You To Live in Fear."
That's the only campaign slogan I'm personally afraid of.

Here are the honorable mentions:

"We are safer in America since Saddam Hussein has been captured"
- Too Many Republican Talking Heads to Mention

"There can be no doubt that Saddam Hussein has biological weapons and the capability to rapidly produce many, many more. And he has the ability to dispense these lethal poisons and diseases in ways that can cause massive death and destruction."
- Secretary of State Colin Powell, UN Security Council Address, February 5, 2003

"The President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense would not assert as plainly and bluntly as they have that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction if it was not true and if they did not have a solid basis for saying it."
- White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, December 5, 2002

"Simpy stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction."
- Vice President Dick Cheney, VFW National Convention Speech, August 26, 2002
