Its from the Charleston, WVA Daily Mail and the correct answer is:

(located on lower left side)

Lets give a genuine American hero a little boost in his home state.

1. Is he actually running again?
He's great -- I love his wonderful, eloquent rants -- but he's older than God.

3. He's 87, vibrant as a man 20 years younger and running for re-election
If Strom Thurmond could stink up the senate until age 101, surely Bobby Byrd deserves one more term to help "take out the trash"

4. And so, may he remain in the Senate for another 87 years. Byrd rocks!

5. Let's wait and see if he votes to confirm Janice Rogers Brown
After the Owens vote I'm not sure I give a damn if he runs, retires or just fades away.

6. He has my undying respect regardless of how he votes on any single
court appointment. I don't have litmus tests for hero's who have stood up to the BFEE time after time after time. I trust his judgement.

Since neither of us live in WVA, it really doesn't make much difference what we think anyway but-IMHO-he has represented me in the last few years more than almost any other Democratic senator.
I think most here on DU would agree.
