I've GOT IT! I have the answer to the Army's recruiting Problem!
We should Print up some Official looking "Welcome Letters" from the U.S. Army, and then place them under the Windshield Wiper of every SUV with one of those F*cking BS Magnetic Ribbons on the back.

But the "Army Invitation" would have to say something that would make the recipient think if they threw it away, they would be in trouble.

Fun? Sick? Illegal?

2. Up2Late, also be sure to include link to "War Is A Racket" by Gen Butler
Edited on Wed Jun-08-05 10:52 AM by EVDebs
Direct every potential recruit to the 2x CMOH USMC Gen. Smedley D. Butler's "War Is A Racket"

http://www.veteransforpeace.org/war_is_a_racket_033103.htm

Then too, you may also want to show the movie about Gen Butler blowing the whistle on Bush relatives who tried to overthrow FDR and set up a fascist dictatorship here in the US

www.ihffilm.com/r547.html

If they want to be patriotic, home is the place to begin the hard work of securing democracy and 'preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution of the United States of America."

I would think that deceptions made in order to start a war in Iraq--not Afganistan but Iraq--would prima facie be unconstitutional. West Pointers do not tolerate those who lie, cheat or steal. Before graduation at least.

Gen Butler fully understood this.

7. What happened to Oliver Stone's 1933 coup movie project?
Have not heard a word about that in a couple years. BTW: Oliver got busted by LAPD for possession during a traffic stop last week.

16. Thanks for that link to www.ihffilm .com, I'm into films like that.
Love the History Channel too. Do you know if they have any films on the "Lesser know" military actions, that happened between the U.S. Civil War and W.W.I? Like Mexico, Cuba, Haiti?

3. You mean CHINESE MADE Magnetic Ribbons
Apparently only a small percentage of the Magnetic ribbons are actually made in the US. Some US company came up with the idea, but then it was Walmart-ized and many are made overseas.

The enlistment form idea is great too - especially when you fill it out prior

6. I've already been doing this
 And I'm not limiting myself to SUVs either, anyone with a Bush sticker or one of those yellow magnets on their cars gets an enlistment form.

10. Ya know, if the recruiters really were savvy and had brains
They would go to their local registrar of voters office and print out the names and addresses of all citizens registered republican.

Then, they would get the high school lists of graduating seniors and cross check them with the registered republican addresses.

Then, they would call on the parents of registered republicans who have high school seniors and have the following dialogue:

"Hello, Mr. X. I see that you are a regitered republican. Am I correct in assuming that you voted for Mr. Bush in the last election?

Well, then, I also see that you have a son/daughter graduating and I know that you support the president's war in Iraq. We are having trouble with the democrats joining up to ProtectOurFreedoms(tm), and I knew we could count on good republicans to lend us their graduating seniors for a few years.

As you know from watching Faux News, things in Iraq are not nearly as bad as the librul media says. We are winning and we need children to go help rebuild the schools and pass out candy to Iraqi children.

Won't you spare your grad for a few years?

I knew you would!!"
