(Hip-Hop Action Network's Russell Simmons) HIP-HOP SUMMIT ACTION NETWORK'S RUSSELL SIMMONS: "(I) had a great meeting with today. I was on my way over to see Howard Dean. I had so much fun with Ken that I never even got to meet Howard today. But that was in Washington today. I sat with him and I felt there needs to be an effort on one of the parties to reach out and speak to the young people and to all the people who are struggling, especially the young people as you know, are more likely to be compassionate and concerned with people who are struggling." And republicans concerned with young people? Ha! Didn't Bush recently make cuts to colleges? Not long ago when I was in school a teacher I had told how my college was only getting 60% of what we should have been getting and having to make cuts in certain things. Yep, Bush and the GOP really care about college.

Those Nazi's in the federal government are trying to legislate against hip hop and Mellman will show up and stop them. If he isn't hustling enough he'll call him up and say stuff like "I can't figure why you have a cage full of gerbals while you're doing this though Ken."

And what in the history of the GOP makes him think they honestly give a rats ass about struggling people?

I can't believe what liars they are. They're not concerned about the hip-hop community, their just looking for another group to trick into voting for them with their smoke and mirrors. The GOP is a bunch of con artists.
