The insurgent campaign of car bombings, most of them suicide attacks, have killed at least 443 people since the makeup of Iraq's new government was announced April 28, according to an Associated Press count.

At least 1,259 people were wounded in the 122 car-bomb attacks.

Insurgents also carried out seven suicide attacks while wearing explosives-packed vests, killing at least 137 people and injuring at least 370.
