With Ben Nelson leaving the party for the pukes.

They will now attempt to invoke cloture on Pryor.

1. Good thing they made this deal
Bush gets his most odious nominees confirmed, and the Democrats get...

What do they get again?

10. Once again we bend over. The filibuster deal was
a knife to the gut to the Democrats who care. Some on the hill have not yet learned that Republicans do not play well with others. And some have been criticizing Howard Dean. He is the only one who will tell the truth. If only some of his heat would rub off on some of the Democrats.

6. anybody notice
they are doing the same thing w/ women and minorities
as with Clarence Thomas?

It's like man, you can have a great career as a diversity candidate
if you push the very agenda that will stop the rest of any diversity
candidates reaching the same level of career.

This twist in the kool-aid I find so odorous.

We have not seen the last of Brown
Expect her to be a SCOTUS nominee somewhere down the road if she acts like a good little nazi on the court of appeals. We were really screwed with that judicial deal and will be paying the price for years to come.

11. Dreadful thought
The thought Long Dong Thomas and Janice Rogers Brown on the supreme court makes me want to look into leaving this country.

7. I would say be very careful about doing anything Bush thinks wrong
We seem to have reached this, one set of laws for the rich, who can steal us blind and then the rest of us.
