Screw USA Today, really... |
|
Whenever I go out to eat breakfast I'd drop my 3 quarters in the newspaper machine and get my colorful copy of USA Today to read while eating.
NO MORE.
The London Times ran the Downing Street memo story on May 1... USA Today's excuse that it had no reliable sources on which to run the story is transparently bogus and insulting. Worse than that, it's journalistically irresponsible.
If it can't be a newspaper I might as well read the National Enquirer. Screw you, USA Today. You're one less reader today.

...why were you giving even a dime to a featherweight trifle of a publication like USA Today? What a waste...

8. The baseball section of the online edition is really good. |
|
But I'd never use it as a source for non-sports news.

investigative news stories. But I also would recommend that any open minded person with apt critical thinking skills stay away from their (WP) putrid foaming right wing Editorial Pages. Oh how far the WP has fallen. <sigh>
But USA Today? Oh Ahhh! colored pictures?!? - it was a whore right out of the starting gate. Time for an early retirement. ;)

You shouldn't be too surprized USA Today is owned by AOL/Time/Warner which is owned by Bush's good buddies the Saudis. I used to read USA Today about 5 years ago, but the second Bush took office they became his offical whores in print and I would give them a cent.
Call and bitch'um out it will make you feel better.

4. Call them and write them, telling them |
|
how you feel. That's the only way to get it through their thick skulls that we, the people, are pissed off! I wrote them yesterday and felt much better. I suggested, now that they've printed this article, don't drop the ball again, and how about more of the same on the first page instead of A8?

10. I've always been suspect of newspapers when |
|
they print in color. I've watched plenty of good papers go down hill when they decide to move from black and white.
