Subject: Take BuyBlue with you on your iPod

BuyBlue Supporters:

I?m pleased to announce today that we have a pretty cool addition to the web site. If you are an iPod owner then you are in luck ? now you can take BuyBlue wherever you go on your iPod. If you don?t have an iPod fear not, we do plan to offer this information in other portable formats such as for PDAs and wireless phones. However, it is worth nothing that Apple is 99% Blue (http://www.buyblue.org/detail.php?corpId=99 ), so you could make your purchase knowing you are supporting a blue company. Additionally, in response to environmental concerns Apple has launched an iPod recycling program - http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2005/jun/03recycle.html.

We plan to keep this updated semi-regularly and we?ll be working on a way to automate the updates once we roll out our new web site this summer. This is also our first attempt at this so if you have any suggestions on how to make it better please do share them. I have started a blog entry on the subject here http://www.buyblue.org/archives/2005/06/get_buyblue_on.html), please feel free to comment there.

Also, if you haven?t noticed we have given the ranked listing (http://www.buyblue.org/rankedlist.php) and a-z listing (http://www.buyblue.org/alphalist.php) pages a little bit of a cosmetic makeover. We plan to improve this much more when we roll out our new web site this summer, but we felt this was an important update.
