What, specifically, is being done in the "Red" states
to try to get them to return to "Blue"?

Blogging, conversing on the Internet, etc., only goes about 1% towards accomplishing anything. The Repubs set up shop in Red states, and make their presence known.

Any MAJOR grassroots efforts on the part of Dems to reclaim the moderates in Red states?

3. My state Dem party has given up on national races although Dems
control the legislature. Bush carried the state easily in 2000 and 2004.
