It just makes me sick when another one gets approved. How many more are they going to let through?

1. Maybe they can
come up with another compromise to get 3 more through. Or even more. When the Democrats put their heads together, they can usually come up with something good.

2. 3 was the deal.
And 3 it was.

We'll see now whether any more get through. Althogh these 3 were pretty damned bad, unless your a CEO.

3. These 3 were part of the filibuster 'deal' made by the dems,
I believe.

4. Do you think they're going to stop any of them?
That's the real question.

6. Its better than
...having filibuster rule killed and Bush getting all his appointments through, which is what would have happened without the deal.

7. Right.......
They get all their judges through without any muss or fuss of filibuster and adverse public reaction to the republican application of the nuclear option.

Clearly a win/win. :eyes:

13. You don't know what you are talking about
The deal didn't give them all of their judges. Of the 10 judges that were filibustered, the deal cleared the way for five--two of which were only blocked for lack of information and now considered uncontroversial. Two of the worst judges, William G. Myers and Henry W. Saad, will never be accepted. All in all that's not a bad deal considering the alternative.

10. Oh you mean
The filibuster we can't even use? What good is having a tool if you can't use it?

12. You got it wrong
We can still use the filibuster. We would have lost it had the deal not gone through.

8. All of them
That is the Democrats version of a compromise. They will whine a bit and then cave.

11. I don't think anyone noticed but
2 other judges passed that I think were filibustered earlier too today. Richard Griffin and David McKeague. All the democrats voted for these two. Anyone have any info on these two?
