8. This election is not like any I've ever seen.
Maybe it's the most like '76 from the Democratic side, having a bunch of really interesting candidates. Can't think of anything else.

7. We're not any more reliable than the pundits.
But we do get some interesting inside scoops. For instance, Kerry's soul-searching meeting about what was going wrong. Every campaign has a moment where they have to do this, and it's fascinating if they can come back.
