6. Not totally...they are still nibbling around the edges, though
The cable heads do keep touching it, fast and quick, as though they are planning on using the footage years from now so that they can claim that they were covering it way in advance of any revelations, should the shit ever hit the fan.

It is not any in depth treatment, yet, though. But it keeps coming back, like an annoying bit of mold in a far corner of one's shower.

Hopefully, it will grow like wildfire!

The cops were very sympathetic and didn't take it down.

4. Fantastic!!
One of these days, I'm gonna have to get an overnight sitter and plan to do this.

I know all the cops in town (was a police reporter for years) and some of them hate the Shrub.

I'll just need to find out when they're working and go to their areas so the signs will stay up for more than five seconds.

:)

Do it, you will be glad you did. Don't forget a Honk to Impeach Bu$h sign too!
You might be surprised!

11. I put up signs day and night
No one has ever bothered me ONCE. I even put them up inside stores, on gas station pumps, parking garage ticket dispensers, in elevators, on ATMs-- really everywhere.

Don't think you have to do it under cover of darkness.

See my quasi-legal sign posting hints below! (but don't use spray adhesive where it will cause property damage or difficult clean-up jobs).

8. The DSM and its consequences have me seriously thinking about FW blogging.
I live in a remote area, and even if there's no highway overpass, I'm looking for a good place to put a sign.

I will never forget bush's quote, even as he claimed options were still on the table: "Fuck Saddam, we're taking him out."

10. I have some great pictures of DSM signs up in Houston
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 12:49 AM by TexasLawyer
But my daughter loaned out the photo cable to my camera, so I can't get the pictures out 'til tomorrow.

Get those signs up, people. You're the media!

Quasi-legal sign-posting hint 1: Put your illegal sign on top of someone else's illegal sign. What is your crime? Defacing an illegal sign? Well, that's my story!

Quasi-legal sign-posting hint 2: 3M Super-77 spray adhesive, available in all art supply, hardware and office supply stores. Your signs go up quickly and permanently.

Quasi-legal sign-posting hint 3: High up signs are the best-- better visibility and less chance of being yanked down. If following Quasi-legal sign-posting hint 1, use a broom as your "applicator." Get the back of your sign really wet with spray adhesive, put your sign upright into the broom bristles, and apply to the high up sign that you'll be covering up. Your applicator is also a sign smoother-outer, too.

15. Passing on tips I heard from the Freeway Blogger
Use BUNGEE CORDS ... the cheapie short ones you can buy in bulk. Posting on the inside of fencing is effective.

Paint regular cardboard white and use black paint for the message. White signs get a lot of attention.

You don't necessarily need to use overpasses. The backside of regular roadsigns is good, especially if it makes the cops have to go way out of their way to remove it once its seen.

That's all I can remember right now.

19. You can blow up images and words with Excel
It works surprisingly easier than PhotoShop or other more sophisticated graphics programs. Just insert a pic and stretch it to what ever size you want. It will tile print automatically.

17. nominated and kicked and
There was a video-billboard between Seattle and Tacoma on I-5, during the disputed Governors race this board said "Christine, You Lost, Do The Right Thing" Repug money no doubt. Now Christine Gregoir(sp?) has become the official Gov. of Washington State. How nice it would be if someone were to hang a large, "cheap" banner beneath one of the nearby bridges which read: Thanks Christine, You Did Do The Right Thing
