What the heck is BushCo going to do when Conyers delivers the signatures?
Will they block the WH entrance? Will the SS threaten/use force? Will Rove and * retreat to their secret bunkers? Will the media ignore it like every other important and historic event?

I think this is going to get very good, very soon. I'm giddy with anticipation!

that the world is better without Saddam and that it's time to move on and that Bush has a mandate and that the American people has had enough of Democrat whining. Or something like that.

9. It's not just Conyers
It's going to be 90 congresspeople and probably a good chunk of citizens. I don't think they can just ignore it.. But they'll probably try to block it some how. That's why I think it'll be an interesting day.

16. Anyone remember the scene
in The Godfather when Kay brings a letter for Michael and Tom Hagen refuses to accept it because doing so could get him into trouble?

No one in any position of authority will accept that letter. The guard at the gate will probably take it and that's the last anyone will see it.

(That's all they allow him to do). Karl will meet them at the door and say, "hey thanks for walking this over, I'll see that the President gets it." Then he and Cheney will shove it through the shredder.

Fox News (if they even cover it) will spin it as a pathetic liberal ploy for publicity. :eyes:

20. I wish I could make it to Washington by next Thursday. :(
Here is the answer: on Thursday, a week from today, I will be holding a hearing with my Democratic colleagues to begin to hear evidence about the DSM. We will have a number of witnesses, including Joe Wilson, who frequent readers here already know is a WMD expert and former Ambassador; Ray McGovern, a 27-year CIA analyst; Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed in Iraq; and John Bonifaz, a renowned Constitutional attorney. At the conclusion of the hearing, we will go to Lafayette Park and I will personally deliver your signatures to the White House.

The lies in the campaign were beyond politics as usual. This is how the neocons treat a triple amputee, Purple Heart recipient?

"We The People" are doing something about it. Isn't this what this is all about? This will be hard to ignor by media, people are waking up and being brave. If MSM ignor it, so be it... We will Previle someday soon and someday soon, when We The People arise and take it to street... MSM will be running for the cover.

If they do give it mention, they will just talk about how Conyers was "harassing" the president over an issue that "clearly isn't Bush's fault"
