Robin Quivers of the Howard Stern said ....
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 02:39 PM by hadrons
that she is going to do more reporting on the war in Iraq because people are under the impression that its died down and people are living their lives like its 1999

Too bad Peter Jennings won't do the same thing

2. Jennings is fighting cancer right now and not running the newsroom. Blame
the producers and writers.

3. Well, if Congress is including satellite radio in its censorship net
(like cable) then Howard is gonna really get targeted.

15. New Year's Day 2006 at the latest...
...unless, as the previous poster said, Stern is released from his contract. K-Rock (WXRK)/Infinity/Viacom seem to have taken on a bit more backbone in recent months -- both K-Rock and Howard's people clearly want an amicable situation through and after the break.

On a related note -- Sirius picked up Bruce "Cousin Brucie" Morrow following his firing from WCBS-FM after they made the unannounced change from an oldies to a focus-grouped hits-of-4-decades format. It's an odd couple all right, but Howard and the Cuzz are pretty big boosters of each other.

14. I wonder how many Repubs listen to Stern
When I ocassionally land on his E! show, I think what a bunch of white trash dumbasses but I have a highly-educated liberal CPA friend that loves listening to his radio show.

And the same thing goes for Jerry Springer. His tv show really is as base as it gets but he's quite thoughtful on the radio.

Maybe getting these celebs to educate the "morans" is going to be the best thing to rally these people.
