Remember this: Paul Tsongas was a more successful Presidential candidate than Howard Dean. So was Jerry Brown. So was Gary Hart. So was Jesse Jackson.

We don't look back longingly at them.

(Actually, I still think Hart would have won in '88. No one was beating Reagan in '84 though).
