What's wrong with pointing out that the Republican Party is more homogeneous? It is true. Can't we point out the truth anymore? Since when is "White Christian" an insult? Are people ashamed of being Christians? Or White? I think all these Dean "controversies" are pretty benign.

The Republicans really are pretty smart. They cry so loudly whenever someone says anything about them - they keep us from saying the really bad things that we should be saying. And we take it and try to get them to stop complaining. Give it up. It's a ruse! The spin from the Republicans (including MSM) is incredible. They know they are mostly white Christians. But by freaking out about what Dean says - they are really warning us to not say anything at all. The Republicans can diss Kerry's purple hearts and no one says a word. Dean says the Republicans are a homogeneous party - and people freak out. Has this country gone insane?

4. It's not what he said, it's how he said it.
He NAMED the groups that the Republicans stand for. And it's true. But it implies not that the Democrats are the big tent party, but that we are the ANTI party. And when the people you're painted to be anti are Whites and Christians... the two biggest groups in thier respective areas... that's not good.

I've got die-hard Democrats at work... union men and women who wouldn't vote Republican EVER... saying Dean said the wrong thing. Because guess what? They're all Christians. And most are white. And what they heard was that Republicans are the party for White Christians... and the Democrats are against them.
