Dear Sir,
Imagine the horror watching you violate the rules of the House, and close debate. Why did you do that? This is very frightening and is increasingly pushing the country towards a dictatorship. I may add, the President has stated (2000) that it would be far easier if he were a Dictator and long as he was the Dictator.
I am including in this package two things. Yes a binky, you seem to deserve it, as only babies close discussion the way you did this morning... or tyrants, your choice. The other is a copy of the United States Constitution. I do recommend you get re-aquintend with it, for you do need to realize you took an oath to protect this sacred document, and your actions this morning were far removed from that.
Now imagine this Sir, you managed to get a citizen who is NOT in your district, to go out and buy a copy of the US Constitution, I could have copies and pasted, but you really need a portable version, and a binky.
Now enjoy both and I do hope you do find the Fourth Amendment in there. Oh and while you are at it, please do find the two following United States Supreme Court Decisions which incidentally are relevant to the discussion of the US Traitor Act, as this is gutting the Fourth Amendment, among others.
Here are the cases:
Rumsfeld V Yousef Hamdi Rumsfeld V Jose Padilla.
With no further,
XXXXXXX
PS I do sincerely hope you do loose in 2006 for you are not a good Representative.

Bravo Commandante Sensenbrenner!
My hearty congratulations on silencing this pesky political concept called Democracy. Who knows better than you what Americans need to hear? I am sure that your Party will put the Patriot Act to good use, ferreting out all those Democrats who would tell the truth about what Bush Republicanism is doing to this country. As Presindente-for-Life Bush has reminded us on many occaisions, "my life would be easier if I were dictator". You are certainly doing your part in making this happen. You are an outstanding and loyal Party member who should be rewarded by those that demand a One Party State. Keeping our Patriot Act intact will assure that the spoils of this country can be controlled by the few who deserve these riches.
Let's get the Patriot Act III implemented as soon as possible…..you can make it a crime for anyone to be a member of the Democratic Party! We should start an aggressive program to get more prisons built now and strike while the iron's hot. We have done away with the charade of a free and fair election system, but there is still much work to do to assure a compliant population who will not ask questions of your directives. Perhaps a mandatory stint in Iraq for all Democratic Party members will allow our glorious war for oil to continue while reducing the number of those traitors who would work to impeach our Glorious Leader.
Again, thank you for finally showing your contempt for this failed 200 year experiment of democracy. I look forward to more overt actions to transform America into the United Banana Republican States of Bushistan.
Sincerely, Old and In the Way
PS I assume you know that I am one of those subversive Democrats who will work to impeach you and the rest of the criminals who are destroying this country.

11. What a Great Letter!! |
|
After reading all the posts on this thread, I went to Congress.org and read your letter there as well. That's great! There were many other letters ripping into Sensenbrenner there, as well. While reading your letter there, I noticed that you are in Dexter, Maine. My husband and I are in the Waterville area. If you hear of any protests or Meet-Ups please let us know.

18. I left a message with a perky staffer this morning |
|
she had no idea what had happened, as he had not returned to his office after the hearing (as of my call).
She hemmed and stuttered and said she would pass my message along.

10. My letter. Short and not so sweet... |
|
This is the final nail in your political career. How dare you do this action. I will never forgive nor forget your actions today. I hope you loathe your remaining times in office, they will be short. It is not too late to remember Democracy and support it's dreams and ideals. You can still do the right thing. It is not too late to re-embrace the job you were elected to do. Please remember this in your final days of office: No matter how hard you try, this beautiful form of government is alive and strong and will survive you and your ilk, we will see to that.
Yours with contempt,

12. I am appalled by his sneering, arrogant attitude... |
|
He'll cut right into the middle of someone's statement but will not allow anyone to comment on what HE'S saying.
He's a bully, but bullies are typically chickensh*ts under all the bluster. As no doubt doughboy is.

17. But I have to say, the Dems I heard speaking showed plenty of |

backbone. I loved it when a couple of them said, with a straight face, "Thank you for your civility to the witnesses."
Ticked the old windbag off even more!!!

I was absolutely appalled by by your openly hostile actions on the house floor today.
You would pass the Patriot Act to protect us from terrorism but did it ever occur to you that when you stifle dissent in order to pass such an act that maybe the "terrorists have truly won"?
I would ask that you stop practicing such an empty form of democracy and bring honor back to America by taking a stand against torture and endless detention.
You have the opportunity and, most importantly, the power to help bring America back to it's moral center. Try not to squander it because of petty partisanship or pride. Admitting that mistakes have been made and fixing those mistakes doesn't make us weak, it makes us better human beings. And it also builds a better nation. Think about it.
With liiberty and justice for all, XXXXXX
