Lucianne Goldberg's husband died yesterday

"Ldotter Note from Lucianne:

I am overwhelmed.
There is a story in the publishing business that the reason Margaret Mitchell never wrote another book after her epic "Gone With The Wind" was because she received so much mail about her novel that her good southern upbringing forced her to spend the rest of her life answering each piece individually.
Today I felt like Margaret Mitchell. Because of our announcement of my husband Sidney's death I suddenly realized what it is to have so much love and gratitude and prayers and good wishes in the form of mail that I could easily spend the rest of my life answering you. I can't do that because I have arrangements to make and people to greet and a new and very different life to jump start. I also have this website to run and it is this site that has given me you. There are no words to express how your mail has strengthen me, has consoled me, has reinforced my astonishment at this community of family. Each and every piece of mail I got today is from a remarkable person and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
As most of you know, our dear friend Tony Snow got cancer. He is convinced that the outpouring of love and support and prayers has cured him. He is well now. Our friend Laura Ingraham has had her own health crisis and she reports that your support is easing her path immensely. Please know that though I cannot physically answer each of your emails you have indeed nearly cured something else - my broken heart. For that you have my eternal devotion, loyalty and commitment to the things we hold dear and true.
If others fail you please know what I know about you - here you have a friend.

-Lucianne Goldberg
June 10th, 2005"

8. Do you have a personal relationship with her?

We all hope for peace of family members at the time of death. My emphasis is on the families and survivors of the Iraqi/Afgani wars. Most of these victims were very young.

Is there something unique about Lucianne or her husband?

7. well, the joke being...
Edited on Sat Jun-11-05 01:01 AM by carrowsboy
that whenever someone Lucianne hated dies, her site is filled with things like "good" "(s)he's gone straight to hell" "what took so long," etc etc etc yet when someone close to their clause is ill, God grants their prayers and saves them or can cure her "broken" heart.

Also, the fact that she compares herself to Margaret Mitchell, yet all she has edited or written is a book on hookers and Mark Furman's autobiography.

Since she's an older woman I assume her husband was an older man. Hopefully he had a good life and it will be left to others as to his final destination.

10. One is always sympathetic to the survivors of those who pass on
The choice of eternal rest, of course, is up to the good Lord. I believe in a divine and merciful Providence for us all.

Anyone who's seen Lucianne Goldberg in action and on video (CSPAN etc) knows that her callous and cruel critiques of others have caused immeasurable sorrow to many.

I'm digging down deep into my soul ... trying to believe that there's one ounce of something to feel, but like the person of Anne Coulter or Sean Hannity, I refuse to find some measure of goodwill.

No, I hope her husband's soul rest in peace, but I have no good wishes for THAT CRUEL WOMAN - perhaps a Saint (or her mean-spirit rabid fellow right wingers) could muster up sympathy for her loss, but I can't even begin to ... guess I'll have to confess this sin but I can't make myself feel anything but contempt for this nasty woman who has emotionally trashed so many good peoples' lives. Among others, she IMO, represents EVIL INCARNATE.

11. No comment.
However, I've wondered about Tony Snow and puzzled about how a life threatening condition is not even enough to turn him from the Dark Side.

What's the difference between Tony Snow and Lee Atwater? I wonder.

17. it was Tony Snow...
...who put Linda Tripp and Lucianne Goldberg together. Lucianne "ran" Linda for the CIA.

12. Sorry he died but can';t these people stop...
..."disassembling" (as chimpy would say). Margaret Mitchell was in the process of writing another book when she died. She was a young woman and had she not been hit and killed by a car, would have written many more books.

16. Sidney Goldberg's CIA connections are worth noting here
The man was not just Lucianne's husband. His life was filled with alliances to dark interests. Do just a little bit of research and you'll see how his actions (like those of his wife) were (are) antithetical to the interests of the American people.

The Liberal in me says that human decency requires me to emphasized with her over this ordeal. I have lost close relatives to Cancer as well.

However, the Liberal in me also says that human decency and Moral Justice require that this woman and al her ilk are still responsable for all the harm and human misery they have helped create.
