CNN Reports:Dean renews attacks on Republicans
:bounce:

"I'm tired of lying down in front of the Republican machine. We need to stand up for what we believe in."
"But when a DNC member joked that the best way to get the chairman's attention was to "jump up and down," a grinning Dean fired back: "That's my job."
The crowd of Democratic activists burst into applause."

10. This quote really got me:
"Dean's inflammatory rhetoric makes it clear that Democrats have no vision and would rather pander to the maniacal fringe than talk about the important issues facing our country," Tracey Schmitt said.

Like keeping brain dead white women alive (while allowing black babies to die) by feeding tube.

I watched the whole DNC meeting and I heard NOTHING inflamatory, dog gone it!

Oh, signed! Thanks for the link.

16. But when we talk about important issues, Republicans shut down
Committee hearings and cut mics. Why does Tracey hate America so much?

12. I saw Dean speaking in front of the DNC on CSPAN
I got up to let the dog out at 4:30, flipped on the TV and Dean was on talking to members of the DNC. It was very promising. He talked about getting a team of lawyers in every state to work on election reform. They also talked a lot of moral issues. They had some come up and give a presentation on how the exit polls turned out and there was a very good question-answer session on that.

When they were putting away the things from the presentation, Dean said his agenda was underneath the projector, so he would just say a few things. Dean went on about moral values. He said, "The reason the Republicans are in trouble is because there are so many cases where they say one thing and do something else," He said President Bush's education initiative, the "No Child Left Behind" program, cuts school spending and a clean environment plan, the "Clear Skies Initiative," permits more mercury into the water to harm out children. He talked about it being a moral value that kids don't go to bed hungry. He said the Republicans attack on Social Security isn't about money at all, it is about destroying community.

This little improntu speech, was great. You could see the fire in Dean's eye. He was on message. The people in the room loved it.

I hope it is replayed on CSPAN cause I want to see it again.

15. Out of all that was covered yesterday that is all they said
Did they mention the lawyers? Did they mention the million dollars a week pouring in - without solicitation?

The only newsworthy thing from yesterday was the jump up and down comment? Un-f^&*ing-believable.
