9. Congress holding hearings is a good thing because the public

gets to hear what is going on since they get their news from TV but lets face it the public has very little confidence in congress and ranks them even lower than Bush. An alternative strategy has to be put in place, one I could see working is Dems especially the DNC with Dean buying ads in the papers and on TV to alert the public to the hearings along with a tailored message as to what the DSM contains. They need to hit and hit hard now. Raising money for elections is fine but the people need to hear the Dems forcefully state what is going on in this country and present a different agenda that they can latch on to. The timing is right and the Dems have to step back a little from 08 speculations and strike while the iron is hot. Shrubs numbers are down and steadily tanking, rats are jumping ship, and the media is skiddish too,don't let anyone fool you they truly are, they can turn on a dime(pun intended).If Dems will only kick now while the repugs are down they can win seats in 06 and 08.
