MTP - Dem Hatefest
Edited on Sun Jun-12-05 09:53 AM by Dinger
Shit, I don't even know where to begin - what a goddamn joke!
-Harwood says Dems "lost" 2004 (wrong, it was stolen - Coingate looms - can't talk about that though)
-The old fossil Woodruff talks about how Dean has done the Dems a disservice, and she is sure Hillary will run in '08, she'll raise twice as much as Kerry, She'll be an ATM - I like Hillary, but this shit is out of control - I feel like I'm being brainwashed ( it's not working though)
-Broder is no different than the previos 2
-Gwen is giving a piss warm lipservice to the Dems defense

Now they're talking about the giggling murderer's "approval" ratings - hey, it's getting better, sort of . . .

Oh, Judy's defending bu$h - then she hints at the lame duck effect - repugs thinking about '06, and their own political fortunes . . .

-Broder says b u$h needs to pay more attention to things on the domestic front

Hmmm, Gwen's doing better . . .

-They could mention about the DSM hearings in Congress this week, nah, can't have that. Shit, I was just getting my hopes up too

-Woof woof says Iraq is hurting * (duh, do ya think?)

-Broder says again how Dewan has done the dems a disservice

13. What I find so amazing is they can spew this crap with a straight
face and actually take themselves seriously. Maybe they will watch the re-run some day and hang their heads in shame.

They are talking about repugs who are starting to worry about their own political life because of repugs are toeing the party line. I'm thinking the talking heads who are supporting Chimpy need to start worrying about their loss of credibility. The repugs and the news people who month after month kept supporting Nixon and his thugs ended up looking like dumbasses and dozens and dozens of eggs on their collective faces. They are long past danger of looking foolish supporting this A$$wipe. History will not be kind to them either.

I do detect that EZ Pass Russert has felt the sting of comments for last week's one hour reach around he performed for Mehlmann. EZ Pass got f*cked and didn't even get a kiss for his effort. EZ is trying to "appear" more moderate in his questions but his panel is easily taking up the slack for him.

2. Broder said the WP article today proved that Hillary's criticism of
the press wasn't valid. What a pile of bulls#$t!

Maybe Dean should go back on. I think Timmy would shit himself, once Dean would set him straight!

5. I thought that comment
Edited on Sun Jun-12-05 10:07 AM by atldem
was a little ironic. Broder mentioned the new memo that is a front page story in the WP as proof that there is investigative reporting going on. But just a few minutes earlier Russert had asked the Republican about the memo, the guy didn't even address the question and Russert let it go. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

4. Does anyone still watch this crap?
Why would any Democrat watch anything besides "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"?

6. Masochism I Guess
McCain is on next week. Sounds like it could be a full hour - Hey, didn't they just have Mehlman on for a full hour (after Dean's hour)? They ought to have Dean on next week for a rebuttal!

8. Three conservatives and Gwen Ifil....oh, what a show.
We just turned it off. I almost died when Woofwoof started saying how the party out of power always complains about the media and the other party. She's sitting on a panel where 3 cons and Ifil pass for balanced. Could it get any more frustrating?

14. This may have been true in the past, but Judy simply doesn't
want to acknowledge that the difference this time is that the media is concentrated into six "arms," all of which are owned by conservative corporations.

Judy, hon, it was definitely time for you to hit the feedbag and retire. You simply don't "get it," anymore.

16. They are like the rest of the media
They can't cover a single thing about Hillary without making it a story about how Hillary is maneuvering for the 2008 presidential race. If Hillary says something centrist, she's reaching out to the middle and trying to get rid of her reputation as a liberal. If Hillary says something the left might like, she's playing to her base. They never give a thought or any air time to whether or not what Hillary said has any merit. David Broder used the whole discussion to take part in the latest cover up of the Downing Street memos.

17. These people are completely out of touch....
with what is actually going on in this country. The DSM is poised on the
edge of explosion, and these idiots are busy jerking each other off over
"issues" they have largely conjured up themselves!

Sigh. The f@cking media!!!

Seriously, I'd like to see NBC go under. Not my problem about the people who work for the tyrants.
