Fox Sunday: Is Gitmo a Gulag or Gourmet Bistro? - (VIDEO)
June 12, 2005

Video - Fox Sunday: Is Gitmo Gulag or Gourmet Bistro?

Is Gitmo a legal blackhole where detainees are tortured without due process or is it Cuba's hottest dining experience?

Congressman Duncan Hunter seems to be obsessed with the eating habits of detainees.

1. Ugh!
I couldn't get past Duncan's assertion that "we haven't been abusing prisoners at Guantanamo." He's another lying sack of shit. We're campaigning hard for Busby to replace him!!

2. Why is almost every response from Rep Duncan Hunter.....
...that there are very obvious editing blips? This video has apparently been abridged by FOX News.

4. I cut some of Duncan Hunter's talk....
He often digressed into explanations of which prisoners were Osama's drivers and which prisoners were Osama's bodyguards and so on. To save bandwidth and your time, I cut out some of Duncan Hunter's talking points.

6. Oh, so this is not an official FOX News video, but one you recorded
...sorry you did that without disclosing as it makes Hunter look more coherent than he normally would appear. It also shows that FOX News people, even the likes of Chris Wallace, don't pressure their neo-con guests to stay on topic. But, thanks for recording the interview.....at one point I thought Wallace nearly slipped regarding the menu at GitMo and was going to say, "...Honey glazed ham..." He had the "ha...." sound almost out, but caught himself and said chicken.

The entire gourmet menu thing is also a propaganda hoax, as that is what is reported as meals by the Halliburton Meal Services folks, so they can both overcharge the taxpayer, plus piss off the sheeple who are eating baked beans at home!

3. Access to good food = proof of what?
Should we really ignore all EVIDENCE of physical and mental abuse so long as the detainee was provided with 3 squares per day?

The republicans act as though they're trying to disprove a scientific theory. "If we only show one case where the claim fails, then the theory falls apart."

There are many kinds of torture, including starving the detainee. Presense of 'good eats' doesn't disprove anything other than the obvious -- we're not torturing them THAT PARTICULAR WAY.

5. Since these 'detainees' are kept in virtual cages similar to snails or
lobster and other delicasies, I would say the detainees are part the a bistro owned by PNAC and the cabal.

I am particularly angry this morning.

CBS gives 1/2 hour on Sundays and on half of that they gave us Graham and Clinton buddy-buddy crap.

Nothing about theft, money-laundering in Ohio and Florida, dead in Iraq, our soldiers heading to Paraguay, military families in bad ways, billions-trillions of money missing, fancy new weapon-toys being designed for the boys, worker compensation funds stolen, coin games....
,,,,,, and all those darn arms, hands, legs, eyes, immune systems, and problem organs, heads, and hearts aching, aching, aching.

With PNAC - the question is - is it better to be dead and buried or suffering alive.

I immediately thought about Moon and checked out where Moon bought thousands of acres of land in Paraguay. Check out what someone has written about Moon in Paraguay (another link) Moon, Bush Sr's best friend, the man who was allowed to celebrate some religious ritual in our government buildings in Washington (recently) and whose House of Representative friends coerced other Senators and Representatives to attend the celebration. And according to this article, launders money, deals in drugs. Then to top it all - he owns the Washington TImes - the newspaper quoted every day on Washington Journal and its Editior, who is interviewed by Bryan Lamb every couple of months.

The Washington Times - the top right wing rag and the Pentagon leak link.
