BushCo lies about Iraq "getting better"--but the body count doesn't lie... |

We invaded Iraq March 19, 2003.
On September 8, 2004 the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq hit 1,000. That horrible 1,000 mark was hit after 18 months in Iraq.
We are now approaching the 2,000 mark. If the U.S. soldier casualty numbers continue as they have in the past few months--we will bury another 1,000 soldiers by September 2005.
However, this time--it will take only 11 months for another 1,000 to die--not 18.
Iraq is deteriorating and only growing more violent. Iraq is not, "better" or "improving" or "turning a corner" as Cheney, * and Rumsfeld suggest.
Body counts don't lie.
Let's hope we can end this madness--and this lie-based war that is only deteriorating into a devastating mess.

"You've got to admit...It's getting bettar, it's getting better all the time...You've got to admit, it's getting bettar, it's getting better since you'll be mine...
Getting bettar getting better all the tiiiiiiiime..
All the tiiiiiime, yes Iraq's getting better all the tiiiime...All the tiiime yes Iraq's oils are now all mine...."
