5. I find it amusing when people refer to

themselves as "recovering Catholics." Extrapolating from the obvious tie to "recovering alcoholics," the term "recovering Catholic" suggests a person who is powerless against her addiction to Catholicism and must always fight to keep from going back to the Catholic sacraments, from returning to the faith.

Besides, what's wrong with a priest who has worked with Muslims warning people that he believed a terror attack was coming soon? It did turn out to be an accurate prediction, after all.
