7. C-Span's scheduling. Does anyone know how that works? |
|
Is there a board that decides who and what to put on Washington Journal each day. I'm trying to understand how much input the hosts have in the wording of the questions.
Connie just keeps pimping for the repugs. Wonder if that is a personal decision or an overall direction of C-Span.
Repugs only? Spend a half an hour on a mythical ticket three and a half years from now?

Besides, McCain/Jeb wont win.

9. Wow!! Plenty of McCain haters |
|
And hearing plenty of Jeb Bush haters as well. I guess that makes Condi the GOP darling in '08. Either way though, the radical right are making huge asses of themselves in this segment on CSPAN and I'm loving it!!

12. They have had "Democrats Only" in the past... |
|
Edited on Tue Jun-14-05 08:31 AM by kentuck
I think this call-in was very informative. I don't feel slighted in the least. <on edit> I think the bigger point was how the "Roll Call" guy or whomever he works for, set it up by calling Dionne a "Democrat columnist" or left of center, just before the call-in...

13. C-SPAN just did a "Democrat only" call-in on the topic.... |
|
"Howard Dean - Does he speak for you?" one morning last week.
I only heard one dissenting caller, a trucker, and I suspect that he was a repuke.
Also, I've often heard that Vern guy for "Roll Call" spout repub talking points during his little 3 minutes pieces - last week's meme was Howard Dean is a maverick, insulting to repubs and does not speak for Democrats.

What was his mother thinking when she named him?

15. Wasn't it just great to hear the repugs, sounded like mostly all white |
|
Christian males to me. Boy, the venom spewing from them on McCain, they sound like a very disconcerted bunch at this point. Isn't it amazing no matter how much they disagree they still come together to get what they want, but maybe that is coming to an end, let's hope. I loved it and wish they do more so the country can hear the venomous hatred coming from them.

16. I"ve wondered if McCain was Jeb Bush's ticket |
|
into the Whitehouse. We all know McCain struck a deal with Bush, we just don't know all of the details. Someone told me that McCain stated that Jeb Bush was the future of the Republican party.
I've thought maybe Cheney would step down and Jeb Bush step in but I think that would be to "in your face." So maybe Cheney will step down, Bush will appoint McCain and he'll pick Jeb Bush as a running mate.
